A definite upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace our 2 year old Amana dishwasher, because the heating coil broke, and burned a hole in the plastic tub. Our son and daughter-in-law have a Bosch, and highly recommended it as a replacement. We're very glad they did! No heating coil to worry about, and the dishes come out dryer, and cleaner than before. One of things we like most about our new Bosch, is how quiet it is!
I wasn't happy having to replace my other dishwasher so soon, but we feel that Bosch was a very quiet, and reasonably priced upgrade.

Bosch Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Bosch dishwasher. It's the second one over the years we've bought (different houses) and they are well worth it. Dishes are cleaned very well and the appliance is so quiet, we forget it's on.

Drying

I have only ran a cycle (empty) to clean the dishwasher and when I got up the washer was still lit up and the inside was still wet. I guess tonight will be the true test. In the back of my mind I am wondering if I will have to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying process. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. It works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. Not so quiet, had to purchase adapter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If Bosch is going to put Silence plus on the panel, this machine should be quieter than 14 year old machine it replaced. It's not. It's not annoyingly loud. It's simply not quiet. Instead of a junction box that I didn't need, having a 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch compression adapter would have been helpful and saved a trip to the hardware store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love Bosch

I have 16 rentals and almost all have Bosch dishwashers in them because they are quite, work well, break down very little , and it is easy to get parts and fix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this dishwasher! It's the best one I've ever had. It gets my dishes clean without having to wash them first like my last one did. It dries plastic items a whole lot better than my old one too. It is a little small but for my husband and I it's just right!
