No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing Special-Just a run of the mill dishwasher. The controls were not to user friendly. My wife needed to get the manual out to figure out how to use it. It seems to take a long time to finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it has many modes to choose from, to wash. Also it is very quiet. I am still learning how to use it, but it does not seem to dry plastics well. It is easy to load the way the racks are made.

All but silent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this unit for almost a month now and are still blown away at how silent the machine is. Does an amazing job washing 95% of what we throw at it. Absolutely amazing dishwasher so far, hoping that it lasts!

Totally impressed ~ love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was a little concerned buying a lower price Bosch model as we had been spoiled with a previous model. Was on a tight budget so quality for price was very important.
After doing just one load our fears were put to rest. Love all the options for choosing a load setting ~ we can run a half load when it is just hubby and I or a larger load when company comes. No need to wait till the dishwasher is full. Plus the option for a express wash is so useful when you need to have something washed right away, like my favorite water bottle or forks for desert.
To amaze me even more I accidentally ran an express wash with 1/2 a load of dishes and to my wonder all the dishes were perfectly clean!
The shelving racks allow so much room and options for placing dishes, plus a large generous flatware basket. Plenty of room on lower rack for all the plates and bowls and then some for pots and pans. The unique design allows me to even put my large cutting board and most cookie pans. Love the display panel and knowing how much time is left. I think the only thing I would change is having the display be blue or green, found the red a bit odd.
Love the sleek design, attractive, easy to open and keep clean. And 'quiet'? My first load I thought I did something wrong, could hardly hear it running. I had to ask hubby several times if it was working.
~I call this my new dream machine, I've never been more excited for a pile of dirty dishes!

I was afraid it wasn't running!

I bought this for the 50 dba sound rating and the brand recognition, plus the 4 plus star rating from almost 800 reviews. I just got it installed today and washed a very small load on the express wash cycle. I was afraid that it wasn't even running because I couldn't hear anything. Later I heard a little sound but nothing like my others in the past. I've had many different brands including brands that are known for quietness. I believe that I'm going to love this dishwasher. Thank you Bosch for making a very nice product.

What a great dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this beautiful dishwasher as a Christmas gift from my daughter and her husband, and I am thrilled! The dishes come out so clean they look brand new, and for once in my life I don't have to completely clean them by hand first. And I love the space, the large utensil holder with lids, the knife holders, the fold-down tines on top - everything, including the variety of cycles! And it's so quiet I don't even notice it's running....thank you, Bosch!
