[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the quiet running, but when I use the sanitize feature the shortest cycle time is 2.30 hours, way too long. Also, when completed the light stays on until I manually turn off, which could be up to another day. Slight odor as well, even though I am using Finish tabs and use the Rinse Aid. Overall, I am pleased. Installed 5/27/17.

Basic Model, Top of the line performance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even empty nests have some dishes. Our kids now have families and homes of of their own. We searched the Bosch website and found what we could afford with the features we need for just the two of us. We are very pleased with the performance!
As holidays approach and the extended - nest will fill up again, I am very happy with being the retired dishwasher and know we can count on our new Bosh.

Terrible Dishwasher

We are very disappointed with our new Ascenta, model SHE3AR76UC, dishwasher and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it for the following reasons:
1. Lower Level, loading dishes is not easy. Our dishes are stoneware, medium sized plates and bowls. The lower level spacing between each vertical tine is very tight, probably to allow for more dinner plates. The side mounted utensil baskets with lids are cumbersome and get in the way while loading other adjacent items - did remove the lids. Also, forks extend through the bottom of the basket.
2. Upper Level, again spacing is tight the "rows" for glasses and cups are difficult to load and glasses will often flip over a lay flat or fall through the back of the rack to the bottom rack or even to the lower deck of the machine. Perhaps the tines are to short? NOTE: We load the washer as shown in the Operating Instructions.
3. All dishware is spotted after the cleaning cycle. We have used Cascade and Finish soap products and the Finish Rinse recommended by Bosch.
4. We use the "Sanitize" as instructed to increase the dryness, even then at least 25% of the dishes are wet - Wet, not damp.
5. The smell of the detergent is very strong after the machine is done washing - make one wonder if the dishes still have soap residue on them, especially with the spotting.
6. The door is difficult to open and snaps shut.

Overall, a very nice dishwasher ...

Overall, a very nice dishwasher. However, what is generally a quality appliance is marred by a squeaky and cheap feeling upper rack. Rather than ball-bearing slides, this unit uses an inexpensive roller/slide combination with squeaky plastic rollers.
Additionally, as shipped, my unit was configured to stay powered-on after the wash cycle has ended. This is easily changeable via the front controls; however, the user manual does not give the proper instructions to do this. After hacking around for about 30 minutes I was able to change the setting to have the dishwasher turnoff after completion of a wash cycle. Apparently, the setting procedure was actually simplified, but this new procedure never made it to the user manual.

Love this dishwasher!!!

I’ve had this dishwasher about 7 months and can’t say enough about how great it is. Now granted, my previous washer wasn’t cleaning or drying dishes for about 6 months before I bought this one. From the first wash, seeing those beautiful clean AND dry dishes was such a great feeling. The only downside is that it doesn’t have the best spacing for my bowls, otherwise I’d give it 5 stars. I don’t consider unloading the dishwasher a chore any more because I am constantly thrilled at how clean my dishes and silverware are. You can’t beat this washer at this price point. I can’t imagine what the higher priced models can do, because I’m so happy with this model.
I’m sure I must sound like someone who was paid to do this review, but honestly, this is the best dishwasher I’ve ever had!! I did research prior to buying and Consumer Reports gave this dishwasher their recommendation. It definitely fits the rave review it got.
