Disappointed

The main selling feature of this dishwasher is that it is quite. I will agree that is is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. But, it is disappointing in every way that matters to me. The dishes come out with a film of grease on them. It does not dry well (Yes, I have made sure the dryer setting is on), and it is smaller inside than my last diswasher, even though it is the same size outside. There are too many spokes on it. some of my odd size dishes will not sit well in the bottom rack. It is disappointing that this dishwasher is not as good or well thought out as the one I had for 25 years.

I have been through several brands of dishwashers and this is by far the absolute best on the market!! A sales rep said “we have the least complaints on this brand” and boy was she right!! Thanks Bosch for delivering a product that does what it suppose to do.

Needs improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The exterior looks nice, the racks are flimsy and are not easy to fill. We wash a lot of things by hand b/c they do not fit well in the racks. If you don't run it for a few days it smells terrible even though we rinse all our dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. It's very quiet you don't even know it's running and our dishes have never been cleaner.

Worst Dishwasher I've ever owned

Incredibly disappointed in this dishwasher. Yes, it's quiet...but it leaves a powdery film on many dishes (especially plastic), and a horrible white film (especially on my spoons). Also, it wouldn't hold rinse agent. I have had two technicians come out. First one told me the rinse agent dispenser was just "full" (when I know it wasn't). Second one explained that you need to be so precise when you put it into the tiny hole (which he could not manage either), otherwise it runs right out. My husband suggested using a small funnel...which did work...but it only holds a very small amount, so you need to do this often. Then the technician brought in a laptop to show me the company information that says you can expect these film problems. Probably my water isn't hot enough (my hot water travels far to this spot and doesn't stay hot easily). Or my water isn't soft enough (we use a softener with our well water). So...there is no solution? Nope. Why did my old Kenmore not have these problems? Well, tht had a built-in heater, and mayber a softener. Why then did i buy this machine? Good question. But now I have to either live with terrible film problems and unclean dishes or trash a brand new dishwasher and re-spend for one with a heater and softener.
