Good value.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this model because a Customer Reports' article found that it was a superior model in this price range. My first experience.....I couldn't tell when it was working.....it is as close to noiceless as i've ever experienced a mechanical item. It would be a good thing to have a light indicator on the face of the machine (door) so that one could see when it's program is in progress. Yes....it IS THAT quiet. I have soft water, not sure if that mandatory 'blue stuff' is necessary to stop spotting. This machine cleans very well, glassware sparkles. I can recommend it to anyone......just needs an indicator light on the face! ct

Fixed the stiff door and now it's great

We love our new dishwasher. I was reluctant to buy one for the single reason that the doors were too stiff - you had to really pull on it to open and push hard to lower it. I like to clean the kitchen quickly and the stiff door slows my roll! So I found that i could unhitch one of the springs (on either side) making it half as hard to open (or twice as easy depending on how you look at life)! Now I love it. It's super quiet and the dishes come out looking like jewels.

Excellent dishwasher with one caveat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent dishwasher. It gets everything clean, and is very quiet. The only caveat with it (and maybe this is the case with all modern dishwashers) is that plastic cups are not dry at the end of the cycle. We have gotten used to running the dishwasher at night, then opening it up and letting the cups dry. Usually they will be dry in the morning.

Love!! My dishwasher!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After continuously repairing our last (very expensive) dishwasher, we decided to check Consumer Report reviews this time around!!! We went with the top rated dishwasher (even though the salesperson told us repeatedly this was an "older" model). I was momentarily enticed by fancier models with more options... in the end we decided we had gone that path before (expensive and "top of the line") and would not go down that way again. What a smart choice!!!! This machine is quiet!! And washes dishes spotlessly without pre-rinsing or anything!!! I truly LOVE my "plain old" dishwasher. Not the most expensive or the fanciest... but it gives me clean dishes every time. I've even had it clean burnt on lasagne off a pan without any scraping or soaking!!!
