GREAT-except NO WAY TO TURN OFF SOUND!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of Bosch is great. The dishwasher is quiet and works well as long as you have a drying agent like Finish. That said, I am more than surprised that you CANNOT turn off the "end of cycle" beeps. It is more than annoying that these cannot be controlled. It is a simple button that is missing. A call to Bosch was never returned to follow up on this. I am deeply dissatisfied that Bosch forgot the "sounds off" option but more surprised that they never followed up to tell me "Sorry, you cannot turn off the sound". So now I get to listen to a beeping sound when the cycle is complete and have to then go open the door and hit the on/off button to turn it off.
Not the German engineering I expected......shaame on you Bosch!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are not happy with this washer. Even though we follow the loading instructions, the silverware in particular does not always get clean. It is also hard to tell if the cycle is done without opening the door.

A Decent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a Bosch Ascenta to replace a 15ish year old GE. I'd really liked my GE, but knew it was time to get a new machine since it was having issues and the Ascenta was highly rated and got good reviews. All in all, I like the Ascenta. What I'm not entirely sold on is how it really does need a rinse aid to prevent the dishes from being soaking wet by the time you want to put them away. I get why the Ascenta doesn't have heated dry options like my old GE did, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't at least a little annoying to have to towel dry almost everything after a wash (and that's after letting the washed dishes sit overnight).

I love this machine! I've been using it for about one month and so far, it seems to be doing very well. Dishes look and feel clean. The quiet operation delights me to no end.
