Bosch dishwasher replacement

This washer replaced a 17yr old Bosch, probably higher end model. I picked this because it most closely matched in appearance. However, the wash cycle is noisy (the previous washer was truly silent). Beeps occur intermittently through a wash cycle, in addition to the end of the final cycle. And, despite looking in the online manual for directions, we cannot activate delayed wash cycles. Our old Bosch was straightforward in setting delay washing.
Otherwise, the unit functions well, dishes and glasses are clean.

Best Dishwasher Ever!

Best dishwasher I've ever owned. Quiet, reliable, and makes the dishes sparkle. I've also found it is easy to clean the internal sprayers as well as the trap at the bottom. An excellent design as my last one could not be taken apart for cleaning. I would definitely buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a Bosch for a long time, so I think I had a lot of expectations. It delivers on being quiet and producing really clean dishes. I also thought it would hold a lot of dishes. It does... if your dishes fit. My glasses are too large to go where they recommend and still get bowls beside them, and my bowls are too round to nest as depicted. I appreciate that some of the tines fold down; however, I need something that folds down every other tine, not just right or left side. It still requires a lot of thought to get our dishes packed in, which is frustrating at times.

After owning so many other brands of dishwashers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had 5 other brands of dishwashers and all failed within 5 years. We even purchased a 3 year extended warranty on our last one and it failed right after the warranty died!
Repairs wete done on that one only a year into owning it!
Bosch has currently beat all brands we used in cleaning, drying and overall use. We bought it because of the ratings for longevity and repairability.

I would have given this dishwasher 0 stars if I could. We always had BOSCH dishwashers and they were great. What went wrong with this one?! It became a family joke that we ceremonially say "I hate this dishwasher" every time we load it or unload it. The problems are the following: the upper rack is not adjustable which limits the height below. I cannot put the majority of our plates in the dishwasher. The space above is too big - waste of space. It does not dry properly. It takes forever to complete any cycle. If you open the dishwasher once it has started, you need to press the start button again and it does not seem to always work. Once the cycle is finished, the dishwasher emits this annoying beep which cannot be stopped. It kept waking us up. Now we cannot run the dishwasher in the evening/night. Our contractor got it for us and now we stuck with it. I hate this dishwasher!
