Love this quiet Dishwasher

1. When the installer came he took out our previous Kenmore dishwasher and then promptly told us we needed to get a plumber because we needed a different adapter to our sink.....So he just left the new machine in the garage.
2. Luckily, our plumber was able to come THAT DAY and was able to correct the water adaptor and install the dishwasher BUT he told us we needed to get an electrician because the Bosch dishwasher could not be "hard wired" like the Kenmore was. It has a plug and we had NO outlet under the sink. Several days passed before the Electrician could come and easily install an outlet.
Now, as for the dishwasher itself, we LOVE it. We're still getting used to the best way to load it and to the various wash cycles etc but it has worked well. I'd like a little better drying cycle since water usually pools on top of glasses.
The Biggest problem is that this diswasher is SO quiet, we often can't tell if the cycle is running or not. I guess our dishwasher does NOT have a light projected on the floor but that would be very helpful.
Nonetheless, we are very pleased with the quality of this diswasher and especially with how quiet it is to operate

dishwasher is horrible

I had a Kenmore for over 20 years-the same one! When it broke I called my local appliance place and was told Bosch are great. I paid over $600 and then $250 to install(and dispose of the Kenmore) This dishwasher is horrible in everyway. It is loud, takes alot of electricity-although not water-more then the 20 year old one! and most importantly DOES a TERRIBLE job of washing dishes!! I want to return it however then have to pay the $250 again and then again for a new one that actually cleans dishes!!
I really have nothing positive to say.

Bosch dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had it a few months but it seems very good. Sleek look, very quiet, efficient. Only comment would be about the interior layout design. No real space for anything larger than dishes.

Quiet Competence

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't interested in frills, but I demand a capable machine: This is the one. It has 'it' where it counts. Stainless steel, strong motor, excellent insulation. Wisper quiet and squeaky clean dishes. I am fully satisfied.

Definitely a step down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace our previous Bosch dishwasher. It is about 4 db louder, lacks the red indicator light to show it's in operation, and feels much lighter-weight than its predecessor. It was, unfortunately, also the only Bosch replacement available. I seriously doubt this one will match its predecessor's longevity because everything is just chintzier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the job done
