This model runs so quietly it needs to have a light on the front to tell you when it has finished it's cycle.

THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS BECAUSE OF THE DESIGN WE CANNOT TELL IF THE DISHWASHER STARTED OR WHEN IT IS FINISHED (ITS SO QUIET)LOL. NOW IF i CAN STOP M HUSBAND FROM RINSING THE DISHES BEFORE , i CAN SAY i LOVE BOSCH.

A nice quiet machine. I find the same dish rack design on several Bosch models owned by friends whom I have been visiting. It is a great arrangement if you use a lot of plates, but not so much if you use deep bowls - e.g. for salad or cereal. The only good place for my bowls is the top, second lane from the left, rear half, but the pins on the front half are too close together for my bowls.
In the top rack , the lanes on the right and the left are OK for glasses, but the middle is fairly useless. The bump in the middle lane prevents it from being used for butter plates. It can only hold two or three bowls. My Kenmore was much better designed for my dishes. I do have deep plates, and this is OK for them.

Best Dishwasher ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm the 20 years that we have owned out house we have purchased 5 dishwashers. None of them were up to expectations. We invested in a Bosch and LOVE it. The invisible controls and the simplicity make this one of the best choices we have made.

Although this appliance cleans its contents as well a any, the interior has proven awkward to use. The top rack is angled poorly for stemware and coffee mugs don't seem to fit either. The lower rack accommodates plates nicely but bowls are a problem. The silverware baskets are also poorly designed. Pots, pans and lids?

Clean dishes without rinsing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to pretty much clean dishes before using my old dishwasher and I would dry them by hand as soon as the cycle was done. So it took a few days to change those habits once I got the new dishwasher. I was very pleasantly surprised that even if it takes 3 or 4 days before I need to run a full load, they are clean and without spots. I have been using Finish detergent and rinse which I didn't used to do so that might be part of it, but the dishwasher is doing a good job of getting dried food off of dishes and pans. I'm very grateful!
