Design problem?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned two Bosch Ascentas from 2005-2023, both never failed to clean dishes. My new model hasn't cleaned dishes since I bought it a month ago, not until last Thursday when Bosch Tech identified problem as intake water hose being compressed by front cover plate and preventing water from entering machine to clean. With cover plate removed, water enters machine and dishwasher works, thank goodness. Tech to contact Boschf for solution. Tech has worked on Bosch dishwashers for 30 years and has never seen this problem. Tech thinks an L-shaped hose will fix issue as curvature of hose would not be affected by affixing cover plate. Despite all this, I remain a big fan of Bosch diswashers. Now all I have to do is figure out how to change the settings so the machine stops beeping at the end of the cycle (usually when I'm trying to go to sleep). Can anyone help?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the very quiet operation and thorough job the machine does. We do not like the rack setup. Too many small slanted spaces making it very difficult to place larger objects, bowls, pans. etc. conveniently.

Great washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only negatives are the hidden controls, and the “beep” that is supposed to let us know when the washing is complete since the controls are hidden. I can’t hear the “beep” even if I’m standing as close to the washer as possible. Very inconvenient. Otherwise, it does a great job and we’re very happy with it.

The diswasher was very easy to install, I liked the way the insulation was fitted to the washer, not just laid on it. The drain tube matched up nicely and formed a great seal with the hardware I already had installed for a dishwasher.
The machine is so quiet you can't hear it running sometimes, standing right next to it. I purchased the 5 year parts and service plan because so many appliances have electronic controls that fail in a short period of time. Watch this not be the case with Bosh, but better safe than having to install something else in 3 years.
