[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This by far has to be the best dishwasher I have ever owned. It is so quiet that you don't even know. It's running and the dishes come out perfect every time. There is no need to pre-rinse. Just make sure there are no large pieces of food and put them in.

key aspects greatly disappoint

Bosch Ascenta seems solid. It does wash great. Impressive. However, two aspects fail. And it wouldn't be the first time mention in a review.
(1) The issue of water and condensation all over the place after the full cycle is complete. How can this be? I was told that air blow is not used to save electricity. ?? Everything is wet. ?? If this is innovation I think I'll take cost of electricity to have it dry everything properly.
(2) The racks are terrible. So badly designed. This has been addressed so many times. I really would like to request a new set - top and bottom racks with better design.
I plan to contact Bosch about this model. It's a little over a year now and I think I've given it a chance, but this is not helpful and requiring more time to dry items. Annoyed.

Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. Just keeps on cleaning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Bosch dishwasher, bought it in 2012 and it works just as well as the first day I used it. Married for 48 years and have gone through a number of dishwashers, Bosch is the best and well worth the money.

I never thought I would rave about a dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had many brands of diswashers over our 55 years together, and I've never been totally satisfied with any of them. (I did graduate with a degree in home ecnomics in 1965, so I may be more critical than most.) I was reluctant to buy a Bosch because I wrongly assumed that American manufacturers would produce the best. I was mistaken. I am incredibly pleased with our Bosch dishwasher, which we have now been using for over a year. It has never failed to produce sparkling clean results. I could not be more pleased!

800 Bosch super quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to buy this dishwasher to replace our Whirlpool, which stopped working after eighteen years. We chose the Bosch 800 because of the positive reviews, and we made a great choice. It is so quiet that we sometimes have to check if it’s even running! I can turn it on with my cellphone, and it leaves plastic dishes completely dry. We hope it lasts even longer than our Whirlpool!
