I needed a economical dvd upgrade for my desktop computer.It out performs my old IDE optical drive.

Great value for a solid drive

Product works as advertised. No issues reading or burning disks. I subtracted 1 star because it is very loud in comparison to other drives that I have used, but for the price I would still recommend it.

This drive was very affordable and it was super easy to install and it has caused me no problems. It turned on and worked perfect on the first try. I know that might seem trivial & obvious, but think about how many things in life Don't Work on the first try, Never work like they should or just plain Don't Work. Karma exists, and I give credit where it is due, I give good credit the same as i would give bad.

I've put an LG DVD R/W SATA burner in the last two desktops that I built and have had zero problems. They install very easily and I like the plain black panel that blends in perfectly with the front of the cases.
I would recommend this to a friend!
