very retro but modern

The artistry series is not your average look. It is very retro but yet modern. You can go vintage or very modern, or any thing inbetween. Works either way. And affordability is outstanding. The price for the whole collection is less then most refrigerator s from any manufacturer. A+ GE!

Unique look and spacious

I love almost everything about this fridge. The look is unique and fits perfectly in my kitchen decor, the space is abundant and it's easy to see everything and it's performance has been great. I just wish it would have come with an ice maker.

I bought this as a replacement last month. I am very happy with how quiet it runs. The style is distinctive with the brushed aluminum handles. I didn't think I'd like the bottom freezer door swinging out rather than pulling out the drawer, but it seems easier to find things and get them out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the freezer on the bottom

Fresh food compartment is very roomy; easy to find things. Wish the freezer had a bit more room. The upper door projects out a bit far, making it hard to see items in the freezer.

LOVE our new refrigerator!!!!

Our previous refrigerator/freezer was a side by side with water/ice in the door. We were a bit hesitant to get this fridge without the door features. We ordered this out of a catalog because we needed a smaller fridge for our space. I love having a larger freezer space. It's a bit awkward to get items out of the freezer. You do have to stoop way down to get items off of the shelf. The items in the freezer basket are very easy to get to. It's very complicated to get the ice maker hooked up! I love having more space in the fridge section over the side by side. The door can hold gallon jugs of milk and LOTS of drinks. The black finish with the stainless handles is beautiful!!! I love how it looks in my kitchen. The shiny black finish does show a lot of handprints, but it's very easy to clean. I read some other reviews about magnets scratching the shiny finish so I haven't put any magnets on the front. The sides of the fridge are bumpy so I have put a few magnets there without any problems. The fridge is very quiet. It was noisy when we first got it, but it makes no noise now.

GE artistry black bottom freezer

Just got my new black GE artistry refrig. Love it! It goes perfectly with my reproduction Heartland gas stove...now they both look like something from the 1930's and fit perfectly in my 1830 farmhouse. I love having the freezer on the bottom....easy to reach things and see what's there. Love the adjustable shelves and wider door compartments!
