Great full featured dishwasher - quite quiet!

The third tray for utensils is very handy, as are the adjustable trays and tines.
The steam clean feature is great although I have yet to really test it.
The biggest difference compared to my 20 year old dishwasher is the noise, or lack thereof. This thing is so quiet compared to my old one. We can run this dishwasher and have a conversation right next to it without having to yell.
Great buy!

The thing that caught my attention first was how quite it was. I was watching TV the first time I ran it. I kept listening for it, but only when it was filling could I hear anything.
The next aspect that impressed me was the third shelf and the ability to move the second self up or down to allow space to for larger items.
Finally, the clean dishes was the most impressive feature. Using the steam function on dishes that have been sitting up to a week, cleaned everything spotless. Even dried on peanut butter was gone.
I love my new dishwasher! Finally, one that does not require that I wash before washing.

We chose this model because it had the quietest rating and it exceded our expectations. We really have checked to be sure it was running. The sound of water going down the drain was the loudest noise we have heard. I can actually stand right beside the dishwasher and talk on the telephone.
I also enjoy the capacity and adjustability of the racks and have come to appreciate the silverware rack on the top.

This dishwasher is so quiet the first time we used it we had to get close to make sure it was working. It is so nice to have it running during our awake hours instead of, like our old one, having to set a time delay to wash during our sleep time. The hot steam feature is good and loosens a lot of stubborn food items for a clean wash. Wine glasses come out crystal clear and pots and pans come out clean. As with all new toys it takes time to get used to all the features and how to use them effectively. Overall, we are very, very satisfied with all our LG products.

This dishwasher is quiet and looks good. I had no problem with my previous machine, except for its color. We update all appliances to silver. My old model was obsolete, so I picked the LG for its size and look. I don't know what happen to the extra space. The LG has the same exterior size as my old GE, but the inside doesn't hold as many dishes. The LG is quiet, but takes 2 hrs to complete a normal load. I gave it a 3 star rating in value only because for the price it should hold more dishes.

Great Dishwasher. SUPER QUIET. Great control over the individual sprayers. Cleans extremely well. And again, SUPER QUIET. Can hardly tell it is on.

I LOVE this D/W the True Steam feature gets EVERYTHING clean, even my Pots/Pans. It's the BEST D/W I ever had.
