Cool concept, has flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start off by saying that I like this product. I purchased it almost immediately after closing on the sale of my first home with the intent of having this be the start of my smart home project. Technology with a classic look.
The installation was fine. Barely any issues there, and was able to use the smartkey reset tool to fit to my existing keys. (I have a keyport, didn't want to change the blade)
Use of the product is touch and go. None of the phones in my family have a 100% success rate with the lock at all times. Sometimes the lock doesn't recognize my phone (purple ring) or accept it at all (red ring), but upon a second or third try, or holding the phone closer to the actual lock, the door will lock/unlock successfully.
Additionally, I purchased the Gateway product to be able to lock/unlock remotely, and this doesn't work 100% of the time either.
But when it works.. it works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Keyless entry on my house door wow!

Great idea, not sure totally up for release

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the lock, works about 90% of the time. I feel like the outer casing on the deadbolt is cheap looking, the small knob to open from the inside feels flimsy and doesn't automatically lineup when you open or close it.

Good product with room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works as a functioning lock by opening and unlocking about 80% of the time. Reset, battery change, and reconnect via Bluetooth are the downside to this product. I believe the company is on to something in this keyless world we are becoming a part of quickly. I hope they improve and make this product worth the money.

Great concept, still some issues

This is the 2nd lock I have had, the first one I had to return as it stopped working correctly. The concept of the lock is great and generally works well, although occasionally it will look whilst phones are still inside (even after calibrating), or is really slow to open. Still some work to be done to improve, however it is definitely a great idea for a device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought more than 1yr ago, and didn't use it until today, because de bluetooth cable was pinched and the Kevo can't sell me one. TERRIBLE Support !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bluetooth version has be working flawlessly for a long while, but I'm glad they came out with the gateway to help bring the product to par with what the current market solutions are. It works great, and we have no complaints. Now that the gateway is added it lets us know when the batteries are low as well. I'm able to confirm that the door is locked while in at work. If I need a friend to swing by the house to pickup something I can share a key and give them access, no more key under the mat situations. I had installed this product over two years now and loving it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
