Inconsistency

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three of the Kwikset locks but there is minor inconsistencies in there operations. Two of the three work with slight touch while the third requires a firm grip at about two o'clock to make it lock/unlock. All doors are woodland, the only variation is in the door penetration, the lock with the inconsistency has a 38 mm penetration while the others are 50 mm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 keno bluetooth locks about a year ago; one is starting to fail already (no response when touching it), the other still works. Usually takes two or 3 tries to get it to lock/unlock with iPhone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheap bug and not work

Not work with majority of android phone. No android version update. Poor compatibility. Lot of bug with iphone. I use a black key and need replace battery inside each 3 or 4 month. Need a majority of time 2 or 3 open tentative to open it (no signal) with a fresh full charge battery. Finaly check video on youtube. Easy to open without any sign of infraction with a bump key sold on ebay for $10.
Please dont buy this garbage lock.

Exciting house lock technology!

This lock is not for everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve installed about 18 of these locks and I’ve fix/re-setup at lease that many or more, if this lock is setup correctly it works good. This lock is great for inner build doors and works great for condo apartments.
C o n s : The Kevo fobs for this lock are junk. When the key fob stops working simply remove the battery wait 10 seconds then put the fob back together and it will work for a few more days. A lot people bought this lock after CES 20015 because of the Bluetooth to zwave bridge that was demoed thinking they would be able to integrated the lock with their security panels however to my knowledge this is still not possible.

P r o s : When using a key to open the lock it turns extremely smoothly. When using a cell phone as your key fob the system works good. There is good software support and compatible for the different phone OS’s. Very good battery life when compared it similar product.
Conclusion: The Kevo electronic lock is a good lock if setup correctly when its being used on an inner build doors and not being used with the Kevo fobs. This is an all-in-one noncommercial solution for the price you’ll get what you paid for and more.

Does not work faultlessly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a great idea but sometimes will not unlock first time - sometimes not all and has also locked the door behind me when I've walked out without my phone. It often needs recalibrating. It can certainly do with some more work. Make sure you keep your spare key handy.

Blue tooth works flawlessly.
Nice to have the hands free when coming home with your arms full not having to fumble with keys.
