Locks by itself

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I would love this lock. It's a great concept but it locks itself sometimes all by itself. I have been outside sitting in the garage and thankfully did not have the door closed all the way. Next thing I hear is the lock locking all by itself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Cool Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this lock for several months now and I love it. One recommendation I have if you buy this is to follow the directions closely. If you do it will work great. Skim through them or skip any steps and you will have trouble with it. Follow them exactly and you will love this lock!

Convenient key free entry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Kevo 1st generation Bluetooth lock for 6 months now, and occasional glitch aside, I have been very happy. My phone remains in my pocket and when I touch the lock it will lock or unlock depending on the current status. Moreover, I can assign virtual keys with set schedules for others in household, guests, and service professionals. With the wireless router accessory , I am also able to lock and unlock the door for guest when I am away.
Unfortunately it is not perfect, and sometimes the bezel does not react to touch, or it spins endlessly. When that happens I just need to close and restart the app.
I highly recommend this lock as it also gives you a physical key alternative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was given the lock as a gift and thought it slightly silly but I'm entirely grateful now as I rarely if ever take my keys with me. So easy to tap and lock as I leave with a handful. Very slick little devise.

No more fumbling to find my keys or having to put groceries down to open the door. I love it that if I need to let family / friends in there is no more hiding a spare key because I can send a temp key to any smart phone. I absolutely love this smart lock!

Got away from having to hide a key and with the Kevo Plus we are able to grant access to anyone anytime its needed.

I purchased the gateway as well so I can remotely lock/lock as well as check the status of my front and back door. I love never having to pull out my keys to get in or out. Works exactly as described. I'm going on about 1.5 years with this product and can say after using it for this long that I'll never go back to a traditional key.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock for one reason, my daughter has Down Syndrome, so she has challenges with her motor skills and is unable to turn a key and unlock a door 100% of the time. The Kevo lock solves that. She carries the fob with her and when, in the rare opportunity, she has to open the door by herself, she just touches the lock to unlock it. This solves a major problem.
