[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Gen 1 lockset installed for several months as well as the internet gateway. I have been VERY pleased with this lockset and the ease of use for end users and for me as the admin of the electronic keys and internet gateway. Locking with the iPhones has been easy since Day 1; same thing once we got the $99 internet gateway. I would rate it 5 stars, but I still have times were the lockset will lock itself and often when I don't have any phones or fobs nearby. This leaves me stranded outside until someone lets me in or I find another means into my house. Locking without the presence of a phone/fob and without touching the bezel is a HUGE problem, thankfully it doesn't happen every time I leave my house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice locket but be careful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house is a cab-over style.. I installed the lock on my main entrance door. With my phone in the master bedroom I am able to unlock the door from outside. So if I were sleeping with my phone in the master bedroom anyone can open the door.
So I installed the locksets on my garage door which is a lot safer for me . I do like The lock set but it does have that one fault.

Has some bugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, my key fob stopped working entirely less than a year after install. Nothing to fix it. It barely works with just my touch. I normally have to log in on my phone to unlock it. Doesn't pair up with Google On Hub. Very disappointing.

Not Entirely Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm now on my 4th Kevo deadbolt and am using it with Kevo Plus. The status of the lock has never displayed correctly despite the first 2 replacements. The most recent problem was the lock unlocking randomly with no one around the lock or the app. Twice it unlocked in the middle of the night. Kwikset replaced it immediately, but my confidence remains low. So far, the 3rd replacement is working and has not unlocked on its own. The status of the lock still does not display correctly in the app. All other functions work as expected including notifications from guest users.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for 3 months and do like it. I had one update to the firmware on the lock. I seems to work fine with my iPhone 7+ and my wife's iPhone 6s+.
Sometimes I still have to open the Bluetooth on the iPhone so the look can see it.

Must Have Lock!!
