Love my kevo lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was a little hesitant on first purchasing a smart lock for our new house we just bought this past summer. Turned out to be one of the better purchases for the house. So easy to use and manage.
Only thing I would change would maybe be some of the mobile app features. Would be nice to get alerts when guest's open and lock the door. Also, would like love integration with IFTTT.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Lock has great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the lock and was not sure how I would like it. But works great with a touch of a finger. And I can remotely open and lock the lock for guests. Also has history to see the who has enter the house. Great product.

Good idea, just not quite ready...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 and the idea is great...and they work "ok" with random success with both the phone/fob....yes, I know it could be "me"...ultimately would I buy it again...not yet.

So cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced the locks on all three of our outer doors with these bluetooth locks. They look cool and work perfectly, we've had no issues. Just have your device on you, tap the lock and it locks and unlocks. I don't use my keys for much anymore. And do yourself a favor and get the hub which will allow you to lock and unlock the doors from anywhere. It's beyond convenient!

Best Smart Lock, but Missing One Thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a first generation Kēvo which is now on my side door after purchasing this one. I have tried the first and second generation August and this is the better lock. Touch factor is much more reliable than August's auto-unlock. My only issue is Kevo's lack of integration. There was supposed to be a Kēvo HomeConnect bridge for z-wave compatibility. I was very pleased to read about it but it must have been scrapped cuz I even called kwikset about its release and the rep had no idea what I was talking about.

Great concept, well built solid lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this lock for over 6 months now and it works well. It looks great, smartkey is a + and so far its been doing what it is advertised to do.
It loses one star due to lack of compatible phones. I am left with using the key fob The problem with that is speed at which it gets detected and opens the lock can be much quicker. Sometimes it has to be taken out of the pocket/purse to get detected. Loses another star for lack of compatibility with home automation vendors. I understand that this is a Bluetooth device and this is not an advertised feature, but since there is a Bluetooth hub (Kevo Plus) that sells separately at an astronomical C$179.00, it lacks simple compatibility with reputed home automation hubs. It would have been really nice to see Kevo coming together with IOT makers and stretching the use case to a whole different level by making this a simple affordable solution.
As far as the lock is concerned, I'm still proud to boast this on my new front door. It works well, batteries are still holding up since it was installed 6 months ago.
