Works great until phone software updates...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Each time we have had a phone software update we have to reset the programming on the electronic lock. It's a huge pain. When it does work... it's great. When it doesn't... it's a huge pain.

Erratic,unreliable kills battery on I phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed for more than a year and it has left me standing in the rain by not responding to my touch. Other times the dead bolt actuated as I am walking out of the door. Checking battery usage on the I phone indicates up to 90% is used supporting Kevo. Last week I was 300 miles away and Kevo drained the battery !
Definitely will not recommend Kevo. App is removed from my phone and I am looking for a keyed deadbolt

It add style and functionality. Easy to manage to let friend come home when i'm not. Warn me when kid get home. Integration with IFTTT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own four of these locks after the first purchase I was hooked. Being able to control who goes in and out of your house by giving them a key with parameters built in by you is an excellent tool, and let's not forget this is one less key (in my case four) to keep up with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Be careful changing upgrading phones

Would have given it a four until I upgraded my phone. Besides the occasional random operation that was not initiated it worked pretty well. When I upgraded phones to the Google Pixel it is not compatible so now I have a lock that still occasionally has a mind of its own but only a real key for my use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had Kēvo for years and I love getting the door open without fumbling for a key. It makes providing access to guests easy with no key to return.
I installed it myself, would list as an easy diy. When an issue came up, I contacted support by phone and they provided great help. Would never go back to a metal key
