Not quite ready for general public

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the first generation of this lock and I love it, however; it just isn't quite ready for the mainstream public. When it works it is awesome. The Bluetooth functionality is somewhat painful, as the device and phone have to connect before it works and that sometimes can be minutes. If you also have the Kevo Plus it improves the likelihood of being able to open your door quicker, but involves opening the app. Additionally, you probably won't be able to get the Plus to work without calling support because its "increased" range doesn't come enabled out of the box and enabling it can't be completed without calling them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 50+ Kwikset venetian bronze handles as my wife wanted me to update the look and get rid of the brass older look... while there, I saw the 925 Bluetooth item, and installed one at my house here in st. louis, along with installing one at my summer home at the Lake of the Ozarks. It's been a tremendous benefit, as now I can simply lock and unlock lake home from the my cell phone. Makes it a breeze to lock and unlock while being 200 miles away....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kevo Bluetooth lock saves my sleep

Now that I have the Kwikset Kevo Bluetooth Electronic lock all I have to do is set him up and when he arrives late at night I do not have to be awoken to let him in.

Great idea, mediocre execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned the Kevo since it was originally introduced. Enticed by the features, ease-of-use and installation, we were thrilled to install it.
Unfortunately, the product has been marred by inconsistent behavior, erratic functionality, and bizarre battery life.
It does not always unlock. We calibrated it numerous times, and yet it does not always work. Every once in a while, it unlocks when the phone is INSIDE the house, despite checking on antenna placement and calibration.
Sometimes we have to restart the app, force restart, or delete and reinstall to work.
The battery life is very inconsistent; we had some last months, and others last weeks.
The locking mechanism itself is slow, loud, and doesn't sense when the door isn't closed, so it will lock even when the door is opening.
I'm curious as to how V2 functions. I'd definitely want the Internet bridge to help with general connectivity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wireless & rekeyable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put this on front door & got Kevo Router paired with Skybell HD. Key for lock can be manually changed to match existing key by owner. I bought two sets of regular and dead bolt key sets then set all keys to match Now all doors on home and garage match handle & deadbolt With Skybell I can see who is at door and let them in FROM ANYWHERE I can also issue & revoke keys when ever I want from anywhere After extensively researching locks this was the best. Program updates are easy and make produced better each time. I called customer service during install and they were very helpful and offered a couple of install tips that solved my problem and made job easier

Would be Great if I Could Count On it Working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock about 6 months ago and then added the Kevo Plus shortly thereafter. The Kevo Plus does not work at all. The Kevo usually responds, but sometimes decides it's not feeling like it. I don't know whether the issue is my phone or the lock, but the fact is that it's not reliable, so I always have to have a physical key as well. Between the time it takes to unlock and the fact that it doesn't always work, I'm not sure it was worth the investment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't have real good luck with this product it if I have to get my phone out of my pocket and open the app it's waste

Like it, but not without some frustration
