Not as good as I thought it would be

I read quite a bit about remote operating devices for locking systems and the Kevo seemed to fit the bill. However, I've been very unimpressed. Battery life is woeful. Changing batteries every 4 or 5 months is crazy. Especially as we don't use if very often. Why don't we use it? Because it rarely works. Constantly needing to re calibrate and slow to recognise the phone means we're always caring a key! Defeats the reason for buying the lock in the first place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love that I can close with a touch but mine closes after several attempts and locks before I can close the door

Only opens if you open the app at your phone and takes a long time, faster use your normal key

I would have given it a 5 star however it's missing a program for Siri like August. And I have to touch the lock two out the times just to get it to login and unlock.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the concept but too many concerns

Really Glitchy

We bought this lock to have the keyless access, it works sometimes and often after trying to get it to unlock by touching it several times it is quicker to use a key. A bad Purchase-avoid!

Good idea, not so great Bluetooth pairing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when my son was born, with the idea that when my wife was carrying the baby in by herself she wouldn't have to search for keys in her purse. When first installed it took about a month to calibrate. And worked good for a few months. Then there was an app update and it just hasn't ever worked the same. Now we have to pull out our phones and open the app. Wait for it to find the lock and then push the unlock button. It will think for about 10 seconds then unlock the door. We loved it when it worked'm but at this point we went back to hard keys.
