Awful

I don't think I have ever bothered to leave a comment about a product I have bought. In short, this product has infuriated me and given the price, I have to comment. I will try not to rant.
Installation is fairly straight foward, for me a little tweaking and a few attempts at resizing the door hole and it was done.
The Kevo came in handy once when I gave access to a tiler when I wasn't home. I was very hopeful of this product.
However, that's where the niceties ended. I have the 1st version, the functionality was severely restricted and you need sperate units for wifi. The manual mechanism to open close is flimsy, and on my unit (which was replaced for a second unit) would click and feel very hard to turn. No matter how we re-installed the unit, it ended up being dificult turn, and that also meant the phyiscal key was also hard to turn (should you need to use it - and you will).
The lock will open or close sometimes when you touch the manual open close lever (and there is no phone around). Why? Don't know. (both units did this)
More often than not, you touch the lock... wait ... wait... touch again... wait. Then it might open. I cannot comment on whether Kevo 2.0 is any better, but I will not waster my money again to experiment and find out.
I am a bit of a techno home automation junkie. Kevo sounded great. The ability to touch is actually more handy than you can imagine when say you have your hands full. Unfortunately though, would highly recommend looking elsewhere, this product was just a let down.

I bought this lock a year ago. Works inconsistently. Both electronic keys stopped working within 2 months.

If you are in a hurry to get out the door, dont buy this lock. If you are seeking some technical automation for your home, then you MIGHT want to consider this device.
The experince I've had has been less than stellar. Some of my key (get it?) issues are: 1. Phone app requires multiple attempts to lock the door 2. FOB are expensive and I've had to reset two since I've purchased.

I have had mine a year and I generally love it. So handy to not have to pull keys out with armloads of groceries I have had some problems with the app not working or the door locking when I don't want it to.

Had lock installed for about.6months. Found lock to be overly sensitive or exposed causing it to be in constant need of fresh batteries

Using for 2 months now and still not sure about it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works but is slow to open with either fob or phone app. Sometimes it has a mind of its own and will lock when you walk outside without anything. Thats why i keep a key hidden just in case. I have tried calibrating and updating it but it randomly locks even when the door is still open.

I have had the Kevo lock for several months now. I usually have to take my phone out of my pocket for it to work. Sometimes I have to open the Kevo app on my phone to get the lock to respond. There have been occasions when we shut the door and it locks by itself and yes this only happens when my phone is inside the house. I have been thinking of trying another brand of smart lock. One that won't lock me out of my house.
