Broke twice already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge exactly five years ago. We had a major repair done one year ago and lost our food and had an enormous mess to clean. Lo and behold - EXACTLY 5 years to the day we purchased the fridge the compressor went out. Again, same situation as the the first repair but this happened Friday evening and NO ONE could be found to come and repair the unit. We had to wait until Wednesday to find a repair company and then wait again for the compressor to be delivered. It was a week long nightmare and a huge expense.
Oh, and I almost forgot, we get to bang on the ice maker daily to try and get ice cubes because they are constantly stuck. Don't ever think you will have enough ice if you have guests over because you will have warm drinks unless you purchase ice.

Poorly configured, would not buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator 10 months ago, I would not buy it again. It is poorly configured on the inside and does not hold a large amount of foods.

Love this refrigerator except....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been looking for a new French style refrigerator and decided on the LGX25974SW. We love all of the features except for the ice/water in door feature. If you use a lot of ice, you don't want this refrigerator.
- If you want cold water and want it fast, again this is not the feature you want. There are two of us in the house and buy noon, there is no more ice until the next day.
- The crushed ice feature will clog the dispenser and it is NOT easy to clear.
- The water flow is so slow, it takes 60 - 90 seconds to fill a drinking glass. That doesn't sound bad but go to your current refrigerator and hold a glass for a full 60 seconds. See what I mean?
If I could repurchase I would get an additional ice maker in the freezer. My recommendation to friends would depend on what they were looking for. All of the other features are GREAT!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything is great. Could be colder on the right door doesn’t keep my milk as cold as I like. Also the ice freezes up on the sides and it stops making ice. This is probably my fault since I don’t use a lot of ice. Also in the freezer I wish the top drawer would pull out further.
