Performs Better than Expected

We had 2 DOA fridges of another brand in 2 weeks. Switched to LG after more research. This fridge is very QUIET, so have to shout about that....ha, ha. Also, it is very energy efficient. I've had it hooked to a Kill-A-Watt meter and the Kwh's are exactly as advertised. We are looking to 'upgrade' to an even more energy efficient LG model in the near future as we attempt to go Net Zero. That LG Linear Compressor with its' warranty is a 'deal maker'. Two minor quibbles 1) I wish the temp gauges were indicating 'actual' fridge and freezer temperatures instead of only the 'set' temperatures. 2) The 'in door' butter door/lid cover is slightly too long and gets hit and thus opened when you remove the taller version milk jugs. Apart from that, you'll never get this fridge out of our kitchen....until, of course, we get the next LG Model....;>)

After being told how great the stainless steel exterior was for the last several years we are very disappointed in the reality. It shows marks, prints, splatters, etc. too easily, too much, and is very difficult to clean, and keep clean without a lot of constant wiping. The plastic trays are flimsy, and probably won't stand up to very much use.
Pros: easy to use, size

I waited a long time to purchase a new fridge. I specificallly wanted a French Door style and when I started looking, this LG was just exactly what I wanted. I love the fact that the ice maker doesn't cause me to lose shelf space in the door and that the water dispenser can accommodate a gallon size pitcher. Most of all, I love how easy it is to find what I am looking for inside. This was a wonderful purchase and one that I show off to everyone who come into my house.

Great Refrigerator!

This refrigerator keeps all your food at the right temperature so nothing goes to waste. It is easy to see inside and there is more than enough storage space. The water and ice maker has a filter so the water tastes very good.

Many features should ne designed differently

Product was delivered with many problems. Doors won't aline, ice maker is slow to make ice. Ice cube button dispenser sticks, Water dispenser is not curved to a glass correctly in fact it is opposite to the glass and causes the glass to slip off spraying water everywhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product was delivered with small dents in door and side. Plastic corner at top rear is broken. Came out of the box this way. Otherwise it works and looks good. Very quiet.

So far this refrigerator has been wonderful. Only problem is the small ice bin, but easily overlooked and worked around. I would. Have liked to have gotten the same amount off the suggested retail price of the white version. Ultimately purchased the stainless for home resale. I chose LG for reputation. And have not been disappointed. Recommend highly.
