Very Spacious

Love quality of LG, but don't love that you have to open both doors to open the deli drawer.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Like a bad roommate

Remember the roommate you had who used all the ice and never re-filled the ice-cube trays? That is this refrigerator/freezer.
In order to have ice, we do it the old-fashioned way by manually filling ice-cube trays, for this ice-maker is horribly slow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like having the freezer on the bottom. It is large and the drawer inside the freezer is handy for smaller items that could get lost. The size of the refrigerator is perfect for the space we have. Love the lighting inside. Overall, it is a good product however, I think there could be a few improvements. The right side door must be pushed to close. Still getting used to that. You basically have to open both doors to get at drawers. Because the ice maker is in the door, the shelves on that door are not deep enough, but then you have more shelf space in the refrigerator. I'm used to storing all my smaller items on the doors and not on the refrigerator shelves. Still have to get used to that as well. The refrigerator runs quietly and have not had any problems yet, but it's only been a month. Hope we still love it after many years.

1st time owning a ice maker and water dispenser, this machine does both well. The lighting inside is very good, flexibility of shelf a plus. I do like the wide drawers both in the frig and freezer compartments. The Temperature that it keeps (37 F) seems to be keep food fresher longer. Ideal setting.

I agree with other reviewers about inadequate space in door shelves; I'm not interested in putting gallon jugs on the door, but am accustomed to keeping dressings, condiments, pickles on the doors and there is only one usable shelf for such items. The remaining shelves are large enough for a single row of standard water bottles, but nothing larger in diameter. Just one more large shelf on the door would make such a difference. However, that is really the only drawback to this refrigerator we have noticed - we have been very happy with this purchase. We were initially concerned about whether the thin profiled ice maker would keep up with demand, but we have never run out of ice - even over the holidays when our family of 3 added 2 returning college students and extra house guests. We purchased the white finish to match existing appliances and it looks very nice and cleans up easily.

Bought this refrigerator 3 months ago. The overall quality of the refrigerator is very good and have no complaints with anything except the small ice maker in the door. It is horrible. We are a family of two and it often cannot keep up with our ice needs even in the iceplus mode. When we have company we actually have to go buy ice because the small ice maker cannot begin to keep up. I would be totally satisfied with this LG product if it wasn't for the inefficient ice maker.

Product quit working after 16 months

I have had this refrigerator for 16 months and it has stopped working already. I can't believe this has happened already after paying 1600.00 dollars for this product. I would recommend a extended warranty, because the labor costs more than the parts alone to repair. I personally think it's a waste of money and after the repairman was here he confirmed that LG is a waste of money. Most of his repair calls are LG and it will take another 10 days to get the parts in and get my fridge fixed. The compressor already needs replaced
and there is no guarantee that it will last.
