Ice maker made me buy it, but...

Certainly a quality product with plenty of room. Love the ability to adjust shelving to fit our needs. Space in doors are perfect. Drawers in the refrigerator and freezer make us happy as well.
The primary reason I bought this refrigerator is the ice maker in the door and thus more space in the refrigerator. What I have found is the left door is much heavier causing it to slam shut while the right door doesn't close on its own. Fortunately there is an alarm to alert you the door isn't closed until you are trained to manually close the right door.
Secondly, when the ice maker isn't used in a couple days or more the ice sticks together and won't come out of the dispenser unless I get into the ice bucket and manually free up the ice.
This problem doesn't exist when we use the ice dispenser daily. But when we are away for 2 or more days, it is a hassle and I'm not sure it is worth it to go thru these actions to get ice and save refrigerator space.

I have had this fridge for one month and it has been great. The design is great the ice maker in the door allows for more space inside. The lighting is great and the in door ice and water is great.

Just what I Wanted

The only things I wish it had was a foldable shelf in the frig area like some of the other models have, and the ability to open the crispers with one one door open, again, like some of the other models have. But for the price I paid, I'm more than satisfied.

Spacious and not too big

I really like this refrigerator. The temperature seems to be very stable and I appreciate the alarm as the only thing I could complain about is that the right side top door has to be pushed closed or it stays slightly open. Thus, the alarm is very helpful. The left door actually slams itself at little too hard. So shutting each side could not be more opposite. Otherwise, I like all the other features. Is runs very quietly and is very spacious.

After looking for a new refrigerator for quite some time I decided overwhelming to go LG. I am so glad I did!! Even though we had to go "counter depth" size it is so very spacious and incredibly well lit. No losing anything in the back ever again. I am still awed when I open the door. So quiet even when making ice. A 10 year warranty as well. I would buy this item again.

love my LG refrigerator, the design is what initially caught my eye. The price was good as well. When I got it home I did not think that it would be as good as it said, but I was wrong it has performed well with keeping a good temperature and the different drawer functions.

Silencing the critics!

I read so many reviews before purchasing this refrigerator. Some things that I read were as far I was concerned operator error. I have had this refrigerator for just over a month with no problems. At times I thought it wasn't even running it is so quite hence silence is golden. Same with my LG microwave oven extremely quite. What some people write about products is just not true. LG customer service are extremely efficient they answered my call with a few minutes. The ice maker in the door is fantastic a major space saver. I can't say anything negative at this point to me it's been perfect. I like perfect size cube and crushed ice. Open either door you do not have to open both together. I will keep you informed
