The only thing I would change is the water dispenser. The water comes out very very slow and takes a while to fill a glass.

I love my new frig!

When I started looking for a new frig, I was caught between this make and model and a different one. In the end, I am so glad that chose this one. On the other model, I didn't like the way that the water and ice dispenser on the door basically, took over the inside of the door. This model had the small shelves, so things still fit and there wasn't so much wasted space. It also matched my new range.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Features/Settings, Quality

This purchase was to replace a refrigerator that had stopped working. We were in a hurry. This was the 2nd model we looked at. Having french doors is great. We are very happy with our spur of the moment purchase. It is our 6th LG purchase and we have yet to be disappointed.

LG has become one of my favorite brands over the past couple of years (I have their washer and TV's too) so when it came to buying a new refrigerator, I looked to them as well. So far, I've been very pleased. Love the fact it reminds me when the door is open too long. My only wish would be to redesign the water dispenser. Everyone who uses it the first time gets sprayed with water because the water doesn't come out below, it comes out in front. Once you're used to it, it is OK, but would love to have an auto-fill button like my son can on his refrigerator.

Amazing appearance and great features

If I could give 10 stars for the sleek look, I would, because the fridge gave my kitchen a brand new appearance. Most of the features are great, especially the glide and serve drawer, which my kids love. We keep all the yogurts there, so they can get an easy access. It is so deep that a few times I wasn't careful enough not to push them too far in and they almost resurfaced beyond the expiration date. :)
The ice maker does get stuck once in a while, but we deal with it and anyway we don't use a whole lot of ice. The french doors are great and the condiments fit nicely, but gallon milk jugs or big juice bottles won't fit in the door. The organic milk cartons and orange juices will fit nicely though.
The only feature that really bothered me for a while and even fooled my guests was the water dispenser. Most fridges (or maybe the ones I have seen) have a small shelf where you put your glass and both the ice and water get dispensed. This one does have a shelf, but only for the ice dispenser. If you want water, you have to hold the glass in the air, as this hole is placed higher than the ice dispenser hole. So there was a lot of spilled water in the beginning! Now I just got used to this, but in the long run, I would have been happier with an option where you put your glass down and just dispense everything. It runs extremely smooth and within the past 6-8 months we haven't had any issues (knock on wood).

Best Bargain by a long shot

I was a little hesitant when I was able to purchase this model at $800-$1000 less than comparable models of other brands. This refrigerator has been more than I had hoped for. It is very quiet. It looks wonderful. Others who have seen it can't believe it didn't cost much more.

I love my LG refrigerator. It is so easy to clean and maintain. It is the same size as my old refrigerator but the LG design makes it more spacious.

Nice overall size. We like the freezer pull out-easy to see items. Like the quiet motor. The top door shelf, above ice maker is difficult to use for short people, but it's better than nothing. Not impressed with the fingerprints and smudges on the "stainless" steel front.
