We love the in the door ice maker. It is so compact and it makes real ice cubes. Not the slices that most others make. It seems to be much larger than the actual size. The freezer in the bottom is what we really like. It's easy to get at items. The slide out drawer is really nice.

Wanted something that could hold large trays and a large frozen pizza. Love the crushed ice. Thought it was the best all round from all my research.

Very disappointing!

I wanted to love this refrigerator!! So disappointing!! The upper left door has a small panel, which you have to push down in, to fully close the door. If the kids close it, forget it!! The ice will melt all over the frig and floor if not seen in time.
The ice in the ice maker has to be manually moved around every couple of days, or it won't come out into your glass.
These are huge factors when thinking about buying this LG refrigerator. It does look great, but I won't purchase it again for my next house.

Overall, a great fridge!

I have loved this fridge! I only have a couple of minor issues: 1) The ice capacity is very small. My family loves lots of ice in their drinks. After filling 1 large cup, the ice bin is practically empty. I have taken to emptying the ice bin, and storing the extra ice in the freezer for later use. 2) The small drawer on the right side cannot be opened, unless both french doors are opened. This drives me crazy. However, the left drawer opens with just the left door open. 3) The secondary drawer in the freezer does not pull out all the way. It would be more functional and easier to use if it pulled out further. Overall though, a great fridge with lots of storage!

Good refrigerator except for ice maker

Ice maker needs complete reset often since it stops dumping ice into the bin. The reset involves turning off the ice maker for 4-8 hours until all ice in the cube tray melts. Then unplugging the refrigerator and plugging back in to reset the ice maker. Then turn the ice maker back on and it starts producing ice in 3-4 hours. Left door is auto close if open less than 30 degrees but right door is NOT auto close contrary to product description. I would have given 5 stars if not for the ice maker issue. I recommend only if discounted. Buy the extended warranty because of the ice maker.

Good but small ice maker

The refrigerator is beautiful with a good amount of space. The only issue I have is the ice maker. It is super small and doesn't store enough ice. I read other people had the same issue. Within the first week of having it the ice was frozen together. I had to keep shaking the ice storage so the ice would come out.

The refrigerator is great. Fit nicely in the space we have. Quiet and works great. Nice ice and water dispenser.
