Great deal on this Frige!

This fridge has the most band for your buck. It has satisfied my needs as a replacement for my 20 year old fridge. I cant complain.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

Great look and does it's job of keeping my food cold. I love the look and the convenience of having ice and water in the door. Very few cons, but worth noting for LG to see if they can improve. The middle of the doors can get jammed if it doesn't line up correctly. Just a pain when you in a hurry. The ice can splatter out at times and the inside doors need more storage space. A few more places to put condiments and larger drinks would be nice. I am still very happy I purchased!!

I "love" this French door refrigerator. It looks great...and the ice maker is nice and quiet...although not real big, plenty big enough for 3 of us using it. The refrigerator part is much larger than the side by side I had before buying this one. The freezer drawer is even larger than I thought it would be. It was well worth what I paid for it .I am VERY pleased!!!

Big and Nice

We bought this on 9/3/2015. It s big and roomy. It keeps temperature well and the water / ice both work well. 1 problem we have with it is a design flaw with the crisper drawer on the right hand side. You can not open it without opening both doors. The center piece between the doors stop it about 3 inches out. We probably would have looked at a different model if we noticed while shopping for it. Other than that I personally love it and my wife likes it. Remember it's stainless and needs to be wiped down almost daily. I would recommend it but would inform them about crisper. Could be a deal breaker for some but the price was right.

Well Designed, Looks Great, Cold...One Concern

Owned this LG fridge for about one year. Love nearly everything about it, but have serious concerns about the icemaker. It failed once at about month 4. Called and was talked through reset...."ice in 24 " - 24 hours, really? I didn't believe it was going to work, but I was wrong. At around month 7 again, no ice. Found the reset button , pushed it, nothing happened. Waited 24 hours called LG. Icemaker dead. Factory repair 2 days later took less than 10 minutes.
I asked the repair guy "How long do icemakers last, years, months....?" Slight pause, "Months, a few months". Me, " After the 1 year warranty expires, and I need to order one and install it myself, how what is the price? " He quoted $240 but they can be had online for $180. It looks as though there was a part revision which replaced a 3-conductor plug with a 6-conductor design. Which one I had and now have, I don't know.
If the next failure is in less than 2 years, I plan to ask for a no charge replacement icemaker. I encourage other owners to do likewise. Hoping that won't happen, and otherwise believe an excellent product.

Good Design, could have been better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 6 months ago I like the design but it would have been excellent if I could open either the left or the right produce tray and not have to open both doors. And the only other trouble is that the ice can back up sometimes because the door to the ice tube doesn't open fully sometimes and I have to reach up and open it so the ice won't plug up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great refrigerator however there are some drawbacks.
1. You have to open both doors to access any drawers inside the fridge, so both doors are open 95% of the time.
2. The freezer drawer doesn't come out very far making it very inconvenient.
