annoying & i hate this refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we bought this refrigerator less than 6 months ago. I wish we could return it. The ice maker is constantly jamming up. We have to empty the ice maker at least 4 times a week. When you remove it from the door, the ice will then fall over the floor. second, the water is soooo slow. It takes forever to fill a glass. The hose is not kinked. The plastic on the door is very flimsy.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

5 years with only one “hiccup”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought unit 5 years ago and have had zero problems until last month when we switched from “crushed” to “cube” ice. That caused ice dispenser to begin dripping water and to form ice chunks (fist size) that stopped the ice production. We went back to crushed ice and the problem was resolved. We will continue in that mode rather than bother with repair hassle. We like this “fridge”!

I like all of the features on this product. They are easy to understand. I really like the alarm feature when the doors are left open. When one of us accidently leaves the doors ajar it lets me know so I can check on it.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

I love the amount of storage space in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments! I would have rated it excellent except that one month after purchase we had a problem with the ice/water dispenser. It was replaced and seems to now be working properly - hoping it was an isolated incident.

Issues:
1. Left door vertical seal bar prevents door from closing if the right door is shut first.
2. Left door vertical seal bar doesn't rotate automatically and might require manual movement to close on occasion.
---competitors don't have those issues.
3. Conveniently compact ice maker may necessitate purchasing a bag of ice from the store for parties.
4. Ice dispenser jams fairly often due to ice melt and refreeze at dispenser opening.

Great Refrigerator, but icemaker is small for a family that uses a lot of ice. I read the reviews before purchasing this and they said the same thing. I thought "they probably use to much ice, or expect to much", but NO they were right! the ice maker is to small for family use. It is nice that it is in the door and it works just fine, just needs to be bigger!
Other than that this is the BEST refrigerator that I have ever owned. Great room and great for seeing what you have! No more lost stuff on the bottom, back shelf that you find with the nasty green surprise because it has been there forever.
I love this refrigerator and so do my wife and daughter.
