Terrible ice maker

The ice maker has to be the worst for high-end refrigerators sold. After discharging cubes, once you pull a glass away for just a moment, the flap at the discharge mouth shuts and will not open for additional ice or a second glass. You have to reach under and open the flap manually to allow ice discharged but trapped at the flap to fall out. Ice cubes also frequently jam inside the shoot. The rotor that is supposed to move cubes from the bin to the shoot and break up cubes fused together is weak and often ineffective. A refrigerator doesn’t do that many things. If you pay this much and it always fails to to one of those things, it’s a poor machine. Wish I could have a do over.

We had to get a refrigerator- one of those the other one is not working right at all. Why not a perfect 5? Because of two things. On the next model up which was my favorite but too deep to fit it in the space had a shelf that tilted under the front shelf. That shelf could fit anything tall right!! So wish they’d sell it separate and it would fit.
The next thing is where the handle moves when you open the freezer. Not in this model.
Like the ice maker being smaller and boost feature to make it quicker if you’re having company is great.
Had to get use to the water dispenser on the outside of the fridge. Use to going under one spigot for water so this has 2- water over the floor the first time. Never will that happen again
Has adjustable shelves inside and doing that so tall items fit!! This layout I like and seems good for the family.
