[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this for 9 years. The compressor failed. But because LG has a 10 year warranty on the compressor, it was replaced for free. We were very impressed with the whole warranty process. Contacting an LG associate was easy and within 2 days we had an LG technician replace the compressor. Definitely would recommend LG to anyone considering a refrigerator
I've had the fridge for 5+ years. Ice builds up under the freezer door and leaks on the floor., Ice machine had to be replaced and the ice machine flapper blocks the ice from dispensing which makes hold the flapper open when we want ice to dispense. Very unsanitary..Ice machine leaks, fills under the glass grate and drips down the fron of the fridge

Very poor ice maker. Having trouble replacing unit as LG has changed to a 12 pin plug from 10. Ice maker frequently over fills tray and drips into bin freezing cubes together. Poor design says says repairman.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not even 10 year old refrigerator and last November, compressor failed. It was changed for another. 1 year later...to the day, refrigerator fails again. After spending money on service call...it was diagnosed irreparable because of the line that runs throughout is leaking and cannot be repaired. LG? NEVER AGAIN
