I bought this fridge 8 years ago. It suddenly stopped working recently. LG Technician Umberto came around and fixed it. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and on time.

This refrigerator is a lemon. The repairman has been here 3 times. He has replaced the ice maker, dryer assembly, compressor,set assembly, he has replaced the circuit board twice and is comping back to replace it a third time. I want my purchase price or replacement refrigeratior. I haven't had a refrigerator for 2 weeks, we need this taken care of now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator to install with our then new home. Only two issues in the 9 years that we owned it - (1) the appliance stopped freezing and refrigerating almost 9 years to the day after installation. That may sound like a long time, however, we are a family of two, so there has not been a lot of in-and-out over the years. And I am old enough to remember when appliances routinely lasted much longer. (2) The second issue is that the ice cubes in the in door ice maker would often freeze together if ice was not dispensed every day or two. Otherwise, no problems or issues until it suddenly stopped working. .
I bought my refrigerator 4 ago and now is not cooling and working. I will need to buy new one.

Looking into your warranty now, we see that your fridge model comes with a 5 year parts and labor Sealed System (Condenser, dryer, connecting tube and evaporator) warranty. It also has a 5 year parts and labor compressor warranty. Finally, it has a linear/ inverter compressor only parts only warranty 6-10 years from the original date of purchase. ^Chris
