Like the refrigerator, but do not like the icemaker. It continuously clumps the ice which I have to empty. When I had problems with water/ice in the bottom of the freezer, I had a very hard time finding someone to service it. Many said they don't repair LG refrigerators, or I wasn't in their area. I used the list on the LG website...very frustrating. I finally found a wonder repair company, but it shouldn't be so hard.
Have used frig/freezer for a week. Nice size for both refrigerator and freezer. Much prefer French door bottom freezer than side by side. Shelves are clean lines and door shelves are big and hold alot. We have purchased freezer storage bins to use in the freezer so that it is not just one big mess of frozen food. These can be pulled out easily versus finding 3 year old frozen food at bottom. Improvements I'd like to see: Bring back the little sliding shelf under the water/ice dispenser. Before you could easily fill a pitcher or tall water bottle without worrying about angles. Secondly, I'm not sure of the value of the wifi. When the frig was first installed, I was disappointed it would only tell me what the temp settings were, not the actual temps. Unless I want to change the temp of the frig from my bed (which I would never do), I am not sure the value of this feature. I thought it would give real time info.

Love our refrigerator it has lasted us these many years till recently that the compressor gave up. And LG came thru replacing it for us because they backed up their warranty!
Purchased August 2018. Sealed refrigeration system has failed 2 times. Repaired both times under warranty. Extremely inconvenient. Food loss and waited days for repair. If not for this I would have given a 4 or 5 star overall rating. There is a lot to like about this refrigerator.

We bought this refrigerator 6 years ago and have been very happy with it! No problems, no repairs. I really like the "Ice Plus" booster when we are going to have visitors over. I plan to buy LG again whenever we need another refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in 2012 and is sad that it just stop working (2023). It is still looking good. The Doors have small dings in it. The compressor has gone out. I was told that ll yrs is well beyond expectation of an LG. I just was my refrigerator to work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I called LG support for replacing 8 years of LG fridger compartment not working called contractor who identified bad compressor. The LG call center person in Phillipines arranged to send generic compressor at no charge to my repair contractor who sent LG certified guy to fix it is working fine now. LG refrigerator should be less than 10 years old to be under warranty.
