Recently installed this microwave. It is incredibly quiet while heating anything up. The vent fan is powerful and has nice bright lights.

Just got this to replace a 5yr old GE that died. This model is the non-vented version of one that got a "Best Buy" rating on CR. We did not want the sensors and other gadgets and are satisfied so far. Wish that GE had longer magnetron warranty like the 10yr offered by other brands. Con: Control panel is dark and hard to read.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features, but motor shuts on and off

Purchased this item and within 2 days of use, the motor quit working properly. It cuts in and out, makes a loud pulsing noise, interior lights flash on & off. Scheduled a repair for today. Will see if problem gets fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave

Just purchased, have had GE appliances forever they last long. This microwave is quiet and does the job as you would expect. Since I have not had it very long hard to say any thing more on performance, when looking for a replacement for the one that quit I found nothing but good reviews for this one.
