We bought this for our vacation home. This summer we had a houseful of kids, grandkids, and neighbors. Thank goodness for this dependable and VERY QUIET appliance.

I love the size and features of my new microwave and how attractive it looks. My prior GE micro didn't come with a turntable, and it makes such a difference, especially when I'm using the potato setting. I purchased a steamer covered dish which does a nice job under the steamer setting, but have to guess as to size or cups of vegetables I'm cooking when the question appears. One has to make many choices when preparing some of the food, so you have to follow instructions on the screen which tells you to "press again" for options and decisions to be made. Of course, you can simply choose to use regular cooking times based on past experience. I've had to remember to press the timer setting both at the start and upon completion of a countdown, or the reminder bell won't stop until I do, unlike my last unit. Also, in order to make the turntable stationary if the serving dish is too large to rotate on it, you have to press settings and go through some options to get to that function, and then press 0 for it to stop rotating. I found out that once the food was cooked, the setting automatically returned to the rotating turntable. However, these are just all learning curves one must get used to. I pretty much use my microwave every day so I hope it has a long life.

Looks great - other appliance look drab now

Just had it installed today. Love it. The other appliances look drab next to it. The only thing I noticed is the plate is not level. Seems to be the center gadget it sits on.

The vent part of the microwave although has many settings...none of them work well at all. Would pass on this appliance.

We've had this microwave for about 9 months or so and we love it. It has all the features we were looking for at a really great price. The fan is quite loud but the light works really well. My favorite features is the Soften/Melt button as I am always melting cold butter. We would highly recommend this microwave!

I purchased this microwave about 2 month ago and have really liked it so far. Controls are easy to use and understand, exhaust fan is stronger and better than my previous unit. I do wish the door was more heavy duty and not so much plastic. Overall, I really like the unit.
