very disappointed in the features

You can't select a heat level when using a Sensor Dry cycle. You have to use the predetermined heat settings and there is no cycle which allows you to use low heat or medium-low heat with Sensor Dry. The only way to use those two heat settings is with Time Dry. There are seven different Sensor Dry cycles and five heat levels, so it seems very strange there is not at least one Sensor Dry cycle for each of the heat settings. I would not have purchased this dryer if I had known how inflexible the settings are.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The features on this product do not work up to a standard they should. The Steam and refresh setting soaks the clothes and you have to dry them for another 30 minutes. The dampness sensing feature does not work at all after the first year. I have had to resort to using manual setting only. The mother board also starting acting up one month after the first year anniversary of purchase which meant the warranty is up. My dryer is now 2 years old and I would advise others to buy a very simple dryer it is not worth the $1000.00.
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Broken out of the box.

First ever Samsung product.
Dryer could not be installed due to broken electric power connection on back of dryer.
Installer said he had seen this same problem before.
Replacement dryer delivered two days later.

The dryer operates efficiently and quietly. Given that our washer and dryer is located on the first floor, it was important for it to operate quietly. We are really enjoying our new Samsung dryer.

This product has great features, the only thing you need to be aware of is with the gas model you can not vent out the RIGHT side
