had it three months, repair man coming today to fix ice maker...other than that we like it.

Roomier than expected

We are very pleased with this refrigerator. Though it's not a giant, I can fit much more food in it than my old side by side. The ample space in the doors helps. The freezer fits a lot, too. It does not have an ice dispenser, but we don't care. It does make ice. It has a water dispenser on the inside, but the flow is a little slow and the location on the left side of the wall a little cumbersome. Overall great! Love the slate finish most of all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very pretty but minor flaws

We've had the refrigerator and range for about 2 months now, and they are beautiful, but I have had a couple of minor problems. The vegetable drawer is difficult to pull out. It has to be at the exact right angle to pull out smoothly. I've actually cracked a little of the plastic off already because I have such a hard time with it. Also, the outer layer of the range door is pulling away from the glass and no longer sits flush against it.

Food stored in the crisper was freezing. Technician believes there is a problem with the seal around a piece of styrofoam which caused air to blow into the bottom of the refrigerator instead of at the top. He sealed it with aluminum tape and we'll wait and see. Makes me wonder about the quality of this refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent features

Our fridge was delivered 3 weeks ago and we are extremely pleased with it. Having the freezer at the bottom was the best choice for us. The fridge section is very well lite, something we really needed as my spouse is visually impaired. It is also very roomy making it easy to organize very quick access for frequently used items.

My wife and I saw this finish on larger sized GE refrigerators about one year ago. We were finally able to buy a size that fits and we are very happy with the features, shelf arrangement and the finish.
My only con is the height / level adjusters lift the front far off the ground before it is level which requires me to unscrew the adjusters a significant amount before I can move the fridge for cleaning etc. Would have been nice if the rollers were able to adjust.
