Love the refrigerated drawer!!

After being forced into buying a new fridge, we knew we wanted to stick with a French Door model - it seemed to work best for our family. Upon seeing the chilled drawer option, in a size that would fit our small kitchen -we went for it and I can positively say it was a GREAT purchase. Not only do I have a retractable shelf in my fridge to better hold my wine bottles but the chilled drawer is a bonus so the kiddos are not constantly in the fridge for drinks!! Oh yeah and the water/ice dispenser is wonderful too...no leaking problems and more H2O being consumed in my house!
Love my Samsung fridge!!
Pros: stylish, sized to fit my kitchen

I am so glad Samsung makes a higher end fridge in the 33" class. Unfortunately my kitchen is laid out such that a 33" fridge is as big as i can go without some major mods that i don't want to do. When i went fridge shopping i was faced with some challenges to find a fridge i really liked. I really did not want another side by side as i hate the layout, french doors was what i really wanted. I also wanted ice and water in the door and what i have found is the Samsung was the only one where that didn't sacrifice the entire left door to get it.
Overall i am super pleased with this unit. I have not had the ice maker or water dispenser issues as some have reviewed here mine work perfectly. The layout is fantastic and it holds a lot more than you would think for its size. My old side by side fridge was a 24cu/ft and what filled it to a disorganized mess fit easily with room to spare in this Samsung. The layout is a huge part of that. The crisper's work well and keep my fruits and veggies fresher than my old fridge did for a lot longer. The freezer layout is great and it also seems to hold a lot more than my old one did. The snack drawer is also a really slick idea, i mainly use it for cold cuts, cheeses and other snack items like yogurt. The LED lighting is also very bright and you can see everything. The night light on the left door is also a really nice touch. The controls are easy to use and easy to set the temperatures i wanted. It also has a power cool mode that works great if you need it. A good example would be the freezer to freeze a bunch of fresh meat after a run to the warehouse store or on the fridge if you leave the door open for too long. I got mine in Stainless and everyone that comes to my house gives me compliments on how nice it looks.
If i had to pick anything to gripe about there would be one thing and its very, very minor. In the snack drawer there is an adjustable divider to keep items separated. While it does adjust easily and keeps things somewhat organized there is no way to lock it in place where you want. What i have found is it moves every time the drawer is opened or closed and all the items its organizing shift about. I did fabricate a quick fix with some rubber and a few zip ties that is working great so solve this very minor thing.
Even with my minor gripe i give the fridge 10/10, its really that good. I am super glad i spent the extra money on such a nice unit.

This is without doubt the nicest refrigerator I have ever had or used. Plenty of room for a family of 3 and fit in a tight space of 35" comfortably with no problems opening the doors. Love the pull out drawer with its own separate temperature controls. Freezer had more than enough space with a solid bottom to catch accidental leaks. Very quiet and took only a few hours to come to temperature after installing. Crushed or cubed ice, cold water dispenser, whats not to like about this fridge.
This fridge is just gorgeous also, looks great with my other stainless steel Samsung appliance and my black pearl granite, really made our kitchen pop!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, cools quickly, looks stunning, plenty of storage, quiet, energy efficient, pull out drawer, led lighting, easy to use controls, well built

I purchased this refrigerator for my flordia condo and so far I love it. I have Sub Zero at home, but I heard so many good things about this product that I purchased. The only thing bad is if it's not in stock you will have to wait months to get it and that is what happen to me. I waited 8 weeks until I got it.

ICE MAKER - DISAPOINTING

We have had this very expensive refrigerator for 1 year and the Flex Zone drawer stopped working properly after 1 month. It only "chills" it does not freeze at all. That was not such a big deal because we use the drawer for canned sodas, which fit perfectly. The biggest problem is the ICE MAKER. The ice maker has not worked properly at all. It freezes over and jams up. Sometimes it doesn't even make ice at all. In addition, when the ice does work for 1 day after my husband has un-jammed it, the ice is watery and drips of water come out of the dispenser making a puddle on the floor. I'm so disappointed. I'll go back to my other brands of products that I usually purchase!
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor ice maker
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problems with Ice Maker Freezing Up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] do not buy! every 3 weeks i have to defrost the ice maker with a hair dryer! bad design allows "warmer" air from the refrigerator into the ice maker, causing it to ice over. fan makes horrible sounds!

Great product...but

Have owned this 4-door French model for 1 year. Overall, it's a nice product - love the French door design and the extra drawer above the freezer is terrific!
However, like several of the other reviewers have noted - the icemaker leaves a lot to be desired. I get crushed or broken ice on the regular setting. On crushed, it's a mixture of crushed and broken cubes - not what I would define as truly crushed ice.
Had to completely discharge all ice to be able to remove the bucket, only to find a leak in the back - there was a glob of frozen water preventing the screw from turning.
Icemaker replaced early February 2015 and I'm still having problems. Such a disappointment
