i got this refrigerator in december2018 and all ready we are having problems with the water value for the ice makers, love refrigerator just don't like problems when it is brand new

Ice maker failure and door strip failure

Ice maker has frosted up twice and quit working. Makes me wonder how Samsung gets away with this since so many have complained about it. Seems there should be a recall fix. Also door strip has ripped and so now my doors have to be shut in a certain order or it will not seal properly. Samsung should offer a recall fix for the ice maker at the very least. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying this refrigerator.

Horrible ice maker. limited space

I bought this model over a year ago and had the ice maker worked on 3 times due to freezing up before they replaced it (the whole refrigerator) and the only improvement it seems is smaller ice cubes which gets jammed between the ice maker and the wall. Also the top shelf is screwed to the icemaker, making it impossible to move and there is only 1 shelf that can be retracted for more room. you cannot place anything over 9" on the top shelf so milk has to go in the door(the warmest spot in the fridge. Also due to the icemaker taking up so much room the shelves in front of it are very small. the middle drawer is a nice feature if you only put certain things in it. If you put meat in it then you still have to open the top for mayo or mustard etc... Fingerprints and water spots show up very bad and it is not stainless steel even though it is marketed that way. I would not buy another one with a drawer it is a neat concept but you lose a lot of space between compartments.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice Maker not working and 2 door bins have broken

We bought our Samsung Refrigerator on 12 November 2016. Since that time the Ice Maker stopped working and 2 of the door bins broke where then connect to the door. The plastic on the door bins is very cheep and not strong. We bought this product because of the 4 door design. We love the "flex" zone drawer for our meat and cheese. The other features are great also but I can not recommend this model because of the Ice Maker and the broken door bins. I hope you have fixed these problems in newer models.

I still love it! Even with the ice makers attitude

I only gave it a 4 is because that ice maker had an attitude!! I am frequently removing stuck ice. Then I have to wait almost up to almost 4 full days before it decides to start making ice again. That definitely needs to be addressed by Samsung, out of warranty or not.

Bad Ice maker nice styling

get an extended warranty! i bought this fridge apx 5 yrs ago and had the icemaker serviced and or replaced at least 5 times. the warranty is over... good size, layout, and design, but that's it.

we needed to fix the fridge 2x in 3 years and nobody wants to work on them. the fans freeze and the ice maker always need to be defrosted.
