Best Fridge that I have ever had!

Terrible Ice-maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] constantly ices over and stops making ice. the force defrost cycle (which isn't documented - search youtube to find it) beeps loudly the entire time it runs, and only occasionally fixes the problem.

BEWARE of the icemaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] while i fell in love with the flexzone drawer and the stainless black color, the infatuation ended with the ice maker in the door. every 4 months the ice maker would freeze up and stop producing ice. samsung warranty covered 3 repairs and an entire unit replacement, followed by another repair, and still, it will not function. i am so frustrated and disappointed with buying another samsung kitchen appliance only to have it fail. buyer beware. dont make the mistake and purchase any of the in door icemaking units.

Meh. Unreliable but pretty

beautiful refrigerator.
i've had to open multiple tickets. at least 5 tickets.
problems mostly with the icebox freezing shut and failing. this was fixed after 3-4 visits. ultimately it was a bad motherboard.
problems with holding temperature. this is the second or third time. i bought in july 2017.
samsung quality is not what i expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unfortunately we are very disappointed

we bought a house that had new appliances. the refrigerator didn't have an icemaker so we waited almost 15 years to replace it. we were so looking forward to ice and water in the door but that joy was short lived. our ice maker freezes up and we have to defrost it to get it to work for a little while. we researched these appliances before purchasing our kitchen appliances all from samsung. we thought we were getting the best quality but have been very disappointed. we also have a dishwasher that needs repair as well. these appliances are beautiful but do not measure up to the reputation or the price we paid for them. i would not recommend samsung for kitchen appliances sorry to say.

unless you want to defrost your refrigerator every 2-3 weeks i would look elsewhere. there is ice build up around the ice maker that stops it from working and also around the fan that then makes a sound like a baseball card stuck in a bicycles spokes. for the first year and a half it was a great fridge but after that its design flaws started to show.
