I bought this camera because before that, a friend bought one and showed it to me and I liked it ... The only thing that my friend connected to the Internet via a Gatolink, And I do not know if you can connect to the internet directly through my laptop , and in the specifications I can not find that information or if I need an app to be detected on my laptop.

I bought this camcorder to replace a Sont HDR-CX260 as I broke the mini HDMI port. This new camcorder is slower to focus and loses focus as compared to the older sony camcorder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

JUNK Do not waste your money

Camera does not read SD card correctly. Keep getting the same error with different cards "reinsert card" Camera is not even a year old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
