I bought this camera before our camping trip out west and I'm so glad I did! It takes such crisp clear videos and photo's. And the zoom feature is awesome! It zooms in so close from so far away. It's very light and small and there is no shake in the videos. excellent camcorder!

First bad Sony product I've owned

It's already been sent for repair once and it's going back for the exact same issue. When recording videos, on playback, there is a blur/fuzzy/hazy area in the lower center of the images videotaped. Received it back from repair with the exact same issue. So, sending it back again and not expecting anything to change. Waste of money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
