Outstanding Oven

This oven has met or exceeded our expectations is all regards. The oven fits nicely in renovated kitchen space assigned to it...not sure about the reported problem in another review I read where the unit didn't fit against back wall. Ours fits great. We needed to follow the calibration process in the manual to get the ovens to the correct temps but otherwise it was plug and play.

Had to change gas line inlet a little because of the double oven not as much room back there as a single oven but that is to be excepted not a big deal. We have had this oven for about six months and we love it. We are empty nesters now and for every day use the upper oven is plenty but when the family comes to visit we had them both going. The top burners are great on the right front is a triple burner I forget the BTUs but wow and the long center one for the griddle that is a great feature. So far no troubles all positive. If you are looking for that something extra in a gas range this is the one. I would recommend this model to anyone.

No real broiling capability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove has an excellent stove top. Burners have wide range of heat intensity. Very pleased here. However I was amazed to find out that even with 2 ovens, broiling is limited to the small top oven and it does not broil effectively at all. The small top oven even had to be serviced within the first 5 months because temperature sensor not hooked up properly. You cannot use the big bottom over for broiling at all which really should have been made clear in the literature. This is an expensive stove and I had high hopes. I am so far disappointed.

Stylish and heavy.

Good looking range. The top burners are great, top oven uses less gas. There is an actual 15-20 degree temperature difference from the knob setting for the upper oven. The left burner control knobs do get hot from the upper oven. Control panel is not backlit and makes it hard to read and is a big GE miss at this price point. The beast is heavy at 224 lbs and is next to impossible to move. This unit should be on casters or at least a better foot slider. It did scratch the linoleum when installing partly because the leveling feet are just hard plastic and it is very front heavy. The stainless is very nice looking and isn't hard to clean. AND, you will need to put 1/4" plywood under it unless you have tile floors to protect it from the lower oven heat. (Which also makes it harder to slide for cleaning under it).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the convection oven, never had one before. Now I will never get another oven without it. Temperature stays accurate and foods cook evenly. I liked everything but the stainless steel look.

Not what I would have expected for the price and name

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research for my new appliances and went completely with the Cafe line so the style and color would be consistance. Not a good idea in the long run because some manufacturers are better at different appliances. Anyway, the upper oven is great for casserole dishes (as long as the handle/knob doesn't stick up) but really very small when some of the room is taken up by the broiler sticking down. The knob control is not great and calibrating it makes the knob handle sit to the side instead of straight, this bothers me. One of the knobs on the range is not right and I need to get the person in to look at it. I went with an extended warranty and would recommend that to anyone spending this much money. The lower oven held my very large turkey last Thanksgiving, but my husband had to lift it from so low to the ground. I didn't really take into account being older and having to stoop down! It is very low. Overall, I like the stove - it does look great and the burners are OK, I am sure the entire unit would be better if I could run Natural Gas into it instead of Propane. This lowers the BTU performance significantly.

Too many repairs
on May 17, 2017

I have owned this range for 2.5 years and have had to replace the ignitor twice in the past 3 months. The element broke both times, see picture (We only used the oven a handful of times before it happened again). It is a beautiful appliance; however, I would not expect this many repairs in such a short time. Very disappointed.

Looks Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the looks of this range, but I am on the second one. First had a misaligned lower oven door and GE replaced range. I also could not get upper oven to reach correct temp or maintain it. I am having same problem with second oven. It cannot be calibrated properly. Tech has been out twice and closest we can get it is 25 degrees off and to do that it leaves the oven knob crooked. So I have to always set temp 25 degrees higher than recipes call for and it is not consistent. Bottom oven works fine...why are ovens not the same???
