Huge waste of money!

I bought this range oven 2 years ago. The first week of installation the lower oven stopped working. I was told it was a problem with a digital sensor. Within a year the lower oven started to act weird like shutting off on its own. When the technician came he could not find anything wrong with it. He "rebooted"the oven. Now less than 2 years of purchase the lower oven stopped working. Now I have to deal with being out of the warranty issues!! If I bought a much cheaper oven it would have worked so much better I have no doubt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend this range to a friend. The range was very easy to use and I like the contol panel on the front of the range. I did not like reaching over hot burners to adjust time and temp. Installation of this range upgraded the looks and functionality of my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this Range. I didn't know a range could Inspire me to do so much home cooking. Excellent temp. controls, very well insulated so it heats the food not the kitchen. Using the probe my Christmas roast came out perfect. I have learned the art of bread and pastry baking and they always come out of my oven perfectly browned. It is so easy when it comes to cleanup. Practically does everything itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shopped for months for a new gas range and found this GE to be the best in its category. Excellent features, solid, well built, heats up quickly, and the double ovens come in handy with plenty of room inside. I have roasted a 24 lb turkey and there was plenty of room. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen and this range makes cooking even more enjoyable. This is a minor complaint, but there are some rubber tabs that the grates sit on top the stove and a couple of them were missing when it was delivered. I asked the store to send me some, but have not received. Overall, I have had this model for a year now and I am extemely happy so far!
I would recommend this to a friend!

For those curious as to side color, it is black. The rest of my kitchen has grey so I wish in the description it would of stated this. I assumed (wrong on my part) that it was free standing and due to the price it was stainless on three sides. I haven't installed it yet as I am waiting to hear from GE if I can install in a slide in space. Beautiful looking though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Love the double oven, the broiler is great, the probe takes so much guess work out of Turkey and pork roast. The griddle is very nice and the large burners really put out the BTU's
