I bought this range in December. I love the amenities. I can use both ovens at once with different temps; I can power-boil and then some...

I have only had this GE Cafe Range one month and I'm not sure how I cooked without it! Heats food evenly and quickly, yet doesn't heat the kitchen. Cleans easily and looks terrific!

Great Range for the price.

After a year of use I would rate this range as exceptional overall for the price. A few minor issues include a rack that binds, knobs that get hot if the oven is open while broiling, and the fact that there is no light on the knobs to indicate a burner was not turned off after use.

Happy to have two ovens and high btu burners but..

've had my range for two years and I am mostly happy. The lower oven has an electric element which isn't controllable and some foods get over browned while cooking. I wish I could have the choice of activating that element or not. At least GE could provide detail in the manual about how/when this element is in use. Also somehow there are some deep scratches on the top of the stainless steel front panel. I've heard that this is a general complaint and am wondering what GE is going to do to improve.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A friend who researches every purchase extensively has this stove and loves it...and so do I. Its a great middle of the spectrum purchase. Anyone who loves the look and feel of the high end ranges that cost $$$$, but whose budget won't allow, this will bring you abundant happiness. Its easy to clean, great looking, high power, lots of options...great purchase.
