Great stove but the oven bulbs burn out all the time. Replaced oven bulbs 5 times in 1 month!

Cleaning Range top

Being able to remove the burner inserts and clean the top is one of my favorite features. I once cooked professionally and still use it as if I have someone to clean up after me after making dinner. I can't convince my wife but I don't mind easily breaking it down to make it appear that I am not messy with grease splatter etc.. prior to guests arriving. The BTU's on the two front burners are amazing, though I have to be careful with what is placed next to it on the counter as the heat has disfigured a few plastic mixing bowls that I was using for ice baths.

I love my new gas range. The fast boil feature is marvelous! The control of the flame is awesome! Every batch of candy turned out perfect! My cookies beautiful and my roast tender and moist! Thank you GE!

GE Cafe Gas Oven

This is the second Cafe series oven I have received. The first oven kept blowing the oven lights. This happened within the first week the product was delivered. I had replaced all bulbs three times and multiple service calls the appliance was replaced. The second oven had similar issues with the bulbs which blew out within the first two days of delivery. I replaced them with GE Reveal appliance bulbs which appears to have fixed the issue. Cooking on the oven is very nice and I find the burners spaced correctly for desired cooking pans. The double oven is a great feature for roasting on the bottom and cooking or keeping other food warm in the top oven. I am very pleased with the operation of the cooking surface and oven, this is consistent with both ovens. I would have expected for an upscale appliance the bulbs would have lasted longer.

I had a professional range

I had a professional 5 burner range (DCS) for 10 years. This GE range has more features and they work flawlessly. My old range would often "click" needlessly and over the time I owned it I had to literarily replace every part. This stove is great. I use it with pleasure instead of being aggravated.
