This appliance solved all of the criteria I was looking for: classic, industrial design; stainless steel; double oven and 5 burner stove.

Love the features, BUT...

Have owned this oven for 3 years almost to the day. Turned the lower oven on only to have it start sizzling & sparking under the floor of the oven; it looked like lightning through the vents that run along the sides of the oven floor. It tripped my circuit breaker. Neither oven is working now. Got on line to check warranty & find a service rep only to find out GE does not have me registered. (I still have my registration card w/ a note I made back in 2013 that I had registered my purchase online. I have been getting GE emails for 3 years). I will update this post when the technician figures out what is wrong w/ my oven. As of now, very disappointed. My last GE gas range lasted 16 years w/ only two minor repairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HIGH PERFORMANCE COOKING

Stove delivered late Nov 2015 and thru Christmas, stove performed well beyond our expectations while feeding a family group of 28 during the holidays. This was no doubt a test for us and the stove met our needs. Oh yea, next Christmas we will have 29 in our group.

Love the griddle!

So far the range has been great. I love the griddle feature. We use it all the time!!! I also like the double oven. The only problem I have had so far is that I can't use the top oven to bake in, the rack is too close to the heating source and it will burn the bottom of the bake goods. But rather use the larger oven and the convection baking option. It works much better :)

LOVE the 2 oven sizes!

I just had mine installed this week and have already used the stove top and the top (smaller) oven to cook one of our favorite dinners. I love how quickly the oven came up to the desired temperature, and cooked beautifully. We had ours converted to accommodate propane, as our location does not have natural gas available.

so far i have not had a single issue. It was the 3rd stove to be delivered after the first two arrive damaged. One very badly damaged. I've only had it for a month now and one of the light bulbs is out but hopefully thats no cause for concern. I read A TON of reviews before purchasing. Some good some bad. I've been told it scratches incredibly easily and if the floor model was any indication that statement is very true. So ive been extra careful when removing the grates to clean. So far no complaints.

Not only is this stove gorgeous, it is extremely practical for us. We (just the two of us) live in a warm climate and purchased this stove in hopes of keeping our kitchen area cooler with the smaller ovens especially during our summer months. We love the duel ovens, perfect for quick pizzas to large roasts. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. We were surprised at how little propane we used after our first months of fairly heavy use. This stove cleans up easily inside and out, was super easy to install (though very heavy) and the propane conversion kit that we needed was attached at the back of the stove. We were able to convert with some time and patience but all in all, fairly easy and with no problems. We love this stove and highly recommend this product.
