Nothing but problems from the first day this oven was installed and despite numerous attempts to fix, still not working properly

I have had my Stove for a couple months. I am very pleased. Love being able to cook 2 dishes at different temperatures. I also really like that I can lock out the gas, when not in use.

Overwhelming gas smell on new oven

We had this installed in our new home and I am very afraid to use the bottom oven because when I turn it on it emits a gas smell that permeates the entire house. We will be checking with GE on this. I've seen many online concerns about this as well. Not sure if it leaks gas. Will not use it until this is resolved. Anyone else having these issues? It looks great but if it doesn't work who cares?

Sleek, stylish, superlative.

Not only does this range make my kitchen look like a pro's, it allows me much more control cooking than my old range, which I'd been quite happy with. The burners go from lowest simmer to a blistering high which brings water to a boil rapidly and can stir fry with excellent results. The variety of burners provide great control. The upper oven heats rapidly and evenly and it's nice to not have to preheat a cavernous space wasting fuel. I have not yet cooked in the lower oven but a turkey could easily fit. The central griddle heated evenly and produced great results. Top and burners are easily accessible and a snap to clean, which I do readily because it's such a beautiful piece of equipment!

Kitchen re-do

We did our homework before making our appliance purchase. This was a big investment but we have been so happy with our choice. The oven does not heat up our kitchen like our old one. The different btu burners are great for the different types of cooking you are doing & the griddle I have used multiple times. Can't wait for the holidays to really put to use the double ovens.

Excellent range!

I bought this range about 4 months ago and it is excellent! The heat control is very precise, the double ovens bake to perfection and all the features sure make our cooking that much better. I was told that gas ovens rarely work as good as electric ovens but this unit sure disproves that, baking, roasting, anything you do comes out perfectly done. And the gas burners allow us to cook a whole meal at the same time, no waiting with 5 burners. Highly recommend!
